Finding them might be a wee bit tricky, but they are there. Yes you can burn your photos to CD for sure. I think Photos has a built-in help section, and there's probably a book you can find at your local library which might be helpful. You can also make albums, or folders and stick your photos in those. Your Photos are stored in the Photos Library which is on your hard drive somewhere. No sweat, techdvm, that's why we're here, to help each other out, just one user talking to another user. There is a learning curve but when you get it is is much more powerful and much easier to use than your old file based method

My fear is I'm going to accidentally leave some photos out when trying to archive them, because they're not organized well. So I can now access them also from my iPhone, which is cool, but are those pictures now taking up a ton of space on my iPhone? Are photos stored in the Photos app on Mac, similar to those stored in file folders, were I can burn them onto cds? Also, when I load photos from a camera onto the Mac, is there an easier way to locate and organize just the photos I've recently updated? I guess I'm just used to organizing with the folders, and the Mac Photos app seems more cumbersome to organize. I have tried once to upload photos from my camera onto my Mac, and it put them all in the Photos app automatically.

Now that I have a Mac, and it 'talks' to my iPhone, I am super confused about where and how to store photos all in 1 place. I would archive those photos a few times yearly to cds. With my PC, I stored all my photos in file folders - those downloaded from my iPhone, and those uploaded from my other Panisonic camera. I have had a MacBook since 11/17 and am still learning how to use it.
